Imagine getting paid $1 million for a day of work. It was a piece of cake for Bill Cosby. That amount was just his base salary in The Cosby Show, raking in $4 million per episode since he was show’s creator and producer. Inclusive to this were syndication and numerous other income streams. Before airing the show, Bill hosted, created, and produced the animated show Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, which could be watched every Saturday morning from 1972 to 1979.

The cartoon was highly successful. In 1984, NBC started airing The Cosby Show, one of two situation comedies that remained atop the Nielsen ratings for five seasons. Bill has managed to secure real-estate investments that could be worth $100 million. However, his joint art collection is worth more than $150 million.
