ROBIN WILLIAMS – EST. $50 MILLION

Unlike some rags-to-riches stories of Hollywood actors, Robin Williams came from a well-off family. With a father who was an executive in a famous motor company and a mother who was a former model, Williams was not someone who had to think of their student loans and financial debts when growing up. When he entered the world of acting, Williams’ first interest was drama. But there were opportunities for him the comedy side of Hollywood.

He landed a role in the series Mork & Mindy, where he earned his popularity and eventually amassed his fortune. For the next 30 years, Williams was critically-acclaimed for his superb comedy style and was regarded as one of the greatest comedians of all time. He also earned praises from Popeye, The World According to Garp, and The Fisher Kind. He was also included in Mrs. Doubtfire and Jumanji.  Williams passed away at age 63 and has left his investments and properties to his children from three former wives.
