RICK GENEST (ZOMBIE BOY)

The tattooed Rick Genest, also known as the Zombie Boy, was a Canadian artist, actor, freak show performer, and model. Rick held the Guinness Book of Record for two separate categories: the most tattoo of human bones and the most tattoo of insects on a human body. He will be mostly remembered for his appearance in Lady Gaga’s music video Born This Way. In 2018, Rick was found dead in his home.

There were speculations that he battled depression and mental health problems, as hinted by social media. Lady Gaga afterward tweeted suicide as the cause of his death and stated the need to eradicate the stigma associated with mental health so that people can seek help. However, Lady Gaga then apologized for this false information as the official report confirmed that his death was accidental with no evidence of a suicide attempt. His lawyers then have confirmed the medical report that no foul play was involved in his death.
