EUNICE GAYSON

London-born Eunice Elizabeth Sargaison, known professionally as Eunice Gayson, had her big break in filming in My Brother Jonathan in 1948. However, she made her mark in cinema history as the first-ever Bond girl. She appeared with the original James Bond, Sean Connery, as Sylvia Trench in Dr. No in 1962. The following year, Eunice also appeared in another Bond film, From Russia with Love.

She was married twice, but her second marriage gave her a daughter named Kate, who also appeared in the 1995 Bond film GoldenEye. Eunice died a natural death at 90 on June 8, 2018. Her legacy will always remain as the original Bond girl, which we are sure many artists would want to follow. She left quite a sum of money when she died. With an estimated $1.2-million net worth, we hope her family will make judicious use of her investment money and ensure that it will be put to good use.
