CHRISTOPHER LEE

Saruman in The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit trilogy. He also played Francisco Scaramanga in the 1974 Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun, and Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Jinnah. His best film, though, was considered by many to be The Wicker Man. Sadly, he passed away on June 7, 2015, due to respiratory problems and heart failure at 93, shortly after his birthday.

It was his wife who made a public announcement about his death four days after he died. His legacy continues to live on, especially in the movie industry. The Academy paid tribute to his many achievements in the 88th Academy Awards’ Memoriam section. With a long list of critically-acclaimed performances, Christopher must have left his family a huge fortune for them to inherit and probably, invest in businesses.
