CHARLIE MURPHY

Charlie Murphy was born in New York, the USA on July 12, 1959. Charles Quinton Murphy a.k.a Charlie Murphy was an older brother to Eddie Murphy’s and older half-brother to Vernon Lynch Jr. He has been described as “insanely humorous” and hardworking, never one to depend on his younger brother’s fortune. This explains his choice of financial advisors and why he strived for a good credit score to his name.

He used to be an actor and writer and is known for Norbit (2007), Night at the Museum (2006) and Roll Bounce (2005). Murphy is best known as a writer and cast member of the Comedy Central sketch-comedy series Chappelle’s Show, and also as the co-star of the sitcom Black Jesus. He was married to Tisha Taylor Murphy. He died from leukemia on April 12, 2017, at the age of 57.
