JOHN RITTER

Jonathan Southworth Ritter or famously known as John Ritter, was a talented and popular American actor and comedian. His character as Jack Tripper on ABC’s television sitcom Three’s Company not only wowed the public but also earned the actor a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. The cancellation of the spin-off Three is a Crowd after 22 episodes only led him to embark on new roles. John was so talented that he was seen in over 100 films and television shows combined.

Unfortunately, John was wrongfully diagnosed with a heart attack, and his doctors completely failed to see the enlargement of his aorta. He then died because of an aortic dissection, which is a much more severe condition. This circumstance led him to his death at the age of 54. His wife gathered attorney and filed lawsuits against the doctors involved in her husband’s case. The lawsuits against the hospital were settled out of court for $9.4 million while the doctors were found not negligent.
