ALAN THICKE

A multitalented actor, TV host, songwriter, and singer, Alan Thicke was the singer Robin Thicke’s father. Alan was famous for his portrayal of Dr. Jason Seaver in Growing Pains. He also hosted game shows like Animal Crack-Us, Pictionary, and All New 3’s a Crowd. He was then assigned to produce and head the writing staff of several talk shows. He was the frequent replacement host for The Alan Hamel Show, which ended up in his very own The Alan Thicke Show.

The show’s success then led to his late-night talk show Thicke of the Night. Sadly, his untimely death came while he was playing hockey with his son. He was rushed to the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, where he died due to a Type-A aortic dissection. He was 69 years old. Good thing he had secured a trust fund for his family, which was already settled by his investment manager.
