LEONARD COHEN

Popular for his hit song Hallelujah, legendary musician Leonard Cohen was honored through his induction into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Before he became a singer, Leonard was initially a poet and novelist since the 1950s. His love for poetry turned into a romantic relationship with music that made him one of the best in his field.

He was able to release an album in 1967 entitled Songs of Leonard Cohen, which was easily followed by three more albums: Songs from a Room, Songs of Love and Hate, and New Skin for the Old Ceremony. However, he lost his battle with leukemia. The disease caused him to fall in his home, and he died on the spot. Despite the loss, his family would still be in stable condition as they are being cared for by his financial advisors.
