Melvin Edmonds

Melvin Edmonds is the second eldest son of six sons. He was a former member of After 7 and the brother of Kenny Edmonds. Along with his brother Kevon and friend Keith Mitchell, they founded the group that made a debut album, which became platinum. They gained recognition in the 1990s with viral hits like Ready or Not, Heat of the Moment, and Can’t Stop. This helped them build a fortune and never need loans in this life.

Melvin’s son also joined the group after he left in 2015, but then he rejoined the group a year later for Timeless. It was the first album they made after 20 years, and just like that, it took off the ground and made so much impact. With their two songs, I Want You and Let Me Know, their hits made it to the top 5 and 10. Although Melvin has now passed away, the world would never forget his achievements.
