BRITTANY MURPHY

Brittany Anne Murphy-Monjack is an American actress and singer. Murphy (Murphy) was born in Atlanta and moved to Los Angeles as a teenager to pursue an acting career. Her breakthrough role was Tai Frasier in “Ignorance” (1995). Brittany Murphy was beauty, sweetness and sophistication all wrapped in one with an incredibly bright career ahead had she lived longer.

With A View From The Bridge as her debut in 1997, Brittany excelled with other appearances in Don’t Say A Word, Riding Cars With Boys, Uptown Girls, Sin City, Happy Feet and 8 Mile. Her career and life were prematurely terminated in 2009 while she was just 32. The cause of death was pinned on pneumonia and anemia; otherwise, she’d still be here entertaining us. She was free of bankruptcy attorneys considering her net worth. We hope she had some insurance plans in place too.
