ANTOINE ASHLEY

A popular American drag queen, TV star, singer and dancer, Antoine Ashley was popularly known as Sahara Davenport. She was widely known as an alluring contestant on the season of RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2010. She was addicted to designer drugs like ketamine, but thanks to her drag mother and rehabilitation and counseling, the Drag Queen was able to quit.

Regrettably, the effects of the drugs had deeply eaten into her system causing her to suffer heart failure leading to her death in 2012 at the age of 27. The deceased artist died of heart failure at John Hopkins Hospital in Barritmo, Maryland on October 1, although few other details about his condition were available at the time of publication. We are uncertain of her insurance plans though her addiction might have led her into bankruptcy.
