He is best remembered for his appearance in The Police Academy series as the trigger-happy Officer Eugene Tackleberry. As a struggling actor, with the help of celebrity player Patty Duke, he won a prize of $10,000 with the $10,000 pyramid (1973). Paul David Graf also starred in M*A*S*H, Star Trek, Quantum Leap, The Dukes of Hazard and The A-Team.

David had a heart attack while attending a family wedding with his family in Phoenix on April 7, 2001, merely 9 days before his 51st birthday. It is uncertain whether he had any heart disease prior to his death and if he was undergoing any treatment. We sincerely hope his financial attorneys are properly managing his fortune and that his family is wise in taking care of his life insurance.
