JOHN SPENCER

John Spencer, an American actor gained popularity with his stellar performance as Leo McGarry in NBC’s The West Wing, earning him an Emmy Award in 2002. Born John Speshock, Jr. the actor was addicted to alcohol for which he dutifully sought assistance at a rehab center. Before being known by TV audiences, John was famous in New York for his outstanding stage performances in the 70s and 80s.

He went as far as quitting smoking all in a bid to live a healthier life. Yet, death happened to him from a heart attack on December 16, 2016, at the age of 58 right where he was filming a TV show. Thankfully, there was his accident lawyer who confirmed the cause of the actor’s death. His insurance plan was in shape at his death, we just hope his beneficiaries are taking good care of it.
