RON GLASS

Ron Glass was an American prolific actor. Ron Glass was born on July 10, 1945, in Evansville, Indiana, USA. His name was Ronald Earle Glass at the time. He hold a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Literature from the University of Evansville. He was best known for his roles as Det. Ron Harris in Barney Miller (1975 sitcom), Dariel Book in Firefly (sci-fi series), and Serenity (the sequel film). He also starred in Rugarts and All Grown Up of the Nickelodeon series among many others.

On November 25, 2016, Glass’s died at the age of 71 as a result of respiratory failure. Ron lived a fulfilled life as a resourceful actor and a philanthropist partaking in social works at the Wooten center. Despite his successful career, he was able to completely steer clear of alcohol and drug rehab his entire life and recording no bankruptcy.
