LESLIE CARTER

Leslie Barbara Carter was born on June 6, 1986, in Tampa, Florida. She was the third of five children of Robert Gene Carter And his wife, Jane Elizabeth Carter. The Carter family is a family of musicians. Remember Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys? Then Aaron Carter the solo artist? Both of them were Leslie Carter’s brothers. Though not as popular as her brothers, Leslie enjoyed her own path as a singer. Sadly, Leslie suffered a long bout of depression and anxiety.

Her life was painfully cut short at its prime when at 25 years of age, she overdosed on prescription drugs. Leslie had the need for drug rehabilitation but she did not take that course. She left her 10-month-old daughter, Alyssa, behind. Maybe a drug rehab program would have restored her to normal, maybe more love and attention would have saved her. We just hope there was someone to take care of her insurance policies.
