TEENA MARIE

A singer, songwriter and producer with a soulful vocal, Teena Marie is globally recognized in soul music and R& B. She always displayed amazing dexterity in playing rhythm guitar and keyboard. Her success in R&B and soul music and her loyalty to these genres will earn her the title of “Queen of Ivory”. She plays rhythm guitar, keyboard and conga. Teena Marie has been nominated for Grammy Awards three times.

In 2004, Teena suffered some brain damage which resulted in her having seizures for the rest of her 6 years on earth. This was after a huge picture frame fell and hit her on the head. It is uncertain whether she received proper treatment – if at all during the period. Teena Marie died of natural causes on December 26, 2010. Maybe, just maybe she would have lived longer and without the seizures. No accident lawyer or wrongful death attorney was alerted of the situation either.
