COREY HAIM

Corey Hiam the Canadian actor rose in the rank and file of the most prominent teen stars of the ’80s within a twinkle of an eye. His performances in The Lost Boys, Murphy’s Romance, License to Drive, Dream a Little Dream and Silver Bullet and other movies transformed him into a teen idol over time. His role with Corey Feldman in “The Lost Boys” made Heim a household name. The two were called “Two Coreys” and became idols in the 1980s.

They appeared in seven films together, and then appeared in the American A&E reality show “Two Coreys”. Unfortunately, Corey like some of the teen stars of his time got himself involved in drug and alcohol abuse. Complications were inevitable with that lifestyle and he soon got diagnosed with pulmonary edema and enlarged heart which later led to his death on March 10, 2010. He could have been saved from this ugly fate if he had been instituted in a drug/alcohol rehab center.
