CHRIS CORNELL
Christopher John Cornell is best known as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the Soundgarden and Audioslave rock bands. He also has his own career and contributed to the soundtrack. He was nominated for 16 Grammy Awards and won three. He was voted “the greatest rock singer” by readers of “Guitar World”. Chris carved quite a niche for himself as a singer, songwriter and musician. Some of his prominent solo studio albums are Carry Truth On, Higher, Euphoria Morning, and Scream.
He was the founder and frontman of a rock supergroup, Temple of the Dog and the lead vocalist of the Soundgarden band. He also did the theme song for the film, Casino Royale. At the age of 52, Chris Cornel was found dead by hanging in a hotel room in 2017. The toxicology reports proved that there was the absence of drugs in his system at the time of the suicide and not wrongful death. His wife contacted a life insurance attorney at his death.
