BILL BIXBY

Bill Bixby was a popular charismatic actor, game panelist, producer, and director for about 30 years. His life in showbiz gained him fame and, of course, fortune. One of the stints that got the public’s eye was his role on CBS’ My Favorite Martian in the 1960s. Bixby also appeared in several other films, stage, and television series. His career was considered one of the longest since the actor stayed in the entertainment industry for decades, long after his contemporaries decided to make their exits.

Unfortunately, illness from his prostrate brought Bill’s career to an abrupt end. The initial treatment he received was successful until 1993, when the disease reappeared and claimed the actor’s life at 59. Sad to say, the beloved public figure passed away on his hospital bed. We believe it was too soon for Bill to have established a family life insurance seeing as he died shortly after his marriage.
