Abe Vigoda gained popularity with his portrayal of Tessio in the hit movie, The Godfather. On top of that, he appeared in other popular films such as Batman: The Mask of Phantasm. The talented star’s acting career took off with stage acting at a young age. Over time, he used his theater experiences to move on to acting in television shows and movies. In the 1980s, a popular magazine made a story about Abe, claiming that he already passed on. As an effect, many people took the bait. The actor, in turn, poked fun at his premature death announcement and enjoyed the extra publicity by even posing in coffins for photographs.

We don’t actually understand why, but for some reason, the American actor gained several death hoaxes over the years, such that when he actually took his last breath in 2006, people thought it was another ruse. He died of natural causes at the age of 94. It is unclear whether or not he left a will for those he left behind and if he had an attorney to oversee things, but one thing’s for sure – this is no longer a hoax!
