George Gaynes rose quickly as an actor after dumping his career in the Dutch Navy. He made his acting debut on Broadway and became well known for his role in The Police Academy, Punky Brewster, Tootsie, and The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd. The actor even co-starred with his real-life wife for the latter production! With his deep baritone voice, George was a renowned voice artist in his time. If that’s not enough to impress you, then you must know that this intelligent and talented human being knows seven different languages and mastered them well.

The Finnish-born actor slash singer peacefully passed on due to natural causes at the ripe age of 98 on February 15, 2016. Luckily, George was able to revisit his last will and testament before his demise. Although he was a very private man, many know that he saves up for his future and family. Credits to his dedication, he has built a wonderful life for himself as well as his loved ones.
