HUMPHREY BOGART

Humphrey Bogart became a Hollywood legend for his role in films of the 1940s era, such as Casablanca, Malta Falcon, and With and Without. He was born in New York City on December 25, 1899. Humphrey’s career began on Broadway in the 1920s, which led him to appear in the B film part of Hollywood in the 1930s. His turning point came the next decade when he played legends in classical Hollywood films.

He was considered a prominent American actor and was labeled as the tough guy with a high credit score and a top box-office attraction in his time. In his career, he portrayed the image of a wise, adventurous man with some idealism touch. But off-screen, he was a cult hero of the American film. He was married four times in his life, and his last wife was actress Lauren Bacall. In January 1957, the actor passed away at the age of 57 due to cancer.
