JAMES STEWART

James Stewart was an American actor who was among the most honored and popular stars in film history. With a career spanning 62 years, he was known for his distinctive drawl and down-to-earth persona. James was nominated for five Academy Awards, winning one for The Philadelphia Story. In 1985, he received an Academy Lifetime Achievement. The actor was also named the third-greatest male screen legend of the Golden Age of Hollywood by the American Film Institute.

James had portrayed various excellent roles until he aged, and he will always stay as one of America’s renowned actors because of his many credits on commercials, talk shows, and short-lived TV series. On June 25, 1997, he was rushed to the hospital because of a heart attack caused by pulmonary embolism. However, he did not survive. Hollywood mourned his death and recalled him as a man who possessed ethics of values and craft.
