ZOE LUND

Zoe Lund was an actress, musician, author, producer, and screenwriter. She became famous for her portrayal as a woman battling addiction in Abel Ferrara’s Ms 45 and Bad Lieutenant, for which she co-wrote the screenplay. Zoe was not just a renowned actress but also a great writer. She wrote an unused draft for New Rose Hotel, where it was put into screens by her longtime friend and collaborator, Abel Ferrara.

Her other investment was the biography of a famous film actor, John Holmes. Zoe was quite open and proud of her setbacks, and she had faced many challenges in her life. She married Robert Lund on October 31, 1986, at the New York Municipal Building. However, they separated after a decade. On April 16, 1999, she died at the young age of 37 due to heart failure. It happened two years after she moved to Paris with her new boyfriend.
