Misty Upham became famous for her role in the 2008 movie Frozen River, among other brilliant performances in other films such as August: Osage County and Jimmy P: Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian. Her family acknowledged that she suffered mental ill-health, which could explain her disappearance from her sister’s residence on October 5, 2014. Eleven days later, her body was found beneath a cliff. A post-mortem report of December 3 determined that she died from injury the day she vanished.
