PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN

Philip Seymour Hoffman gained popularity as an actor, director, and producer with his works in Almost Famous, Patch Adams, and Boogie Nights. Some of his independent movies were Synecdoche and The Savages. He also took part in Mission Impossible II, The Talented, and Magnolia. Following his involvement in high school theater, he attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and graduated with a BFA degree in Drama.

His first-ever film was an indie movie Triple Bogey on a Par Five Hole in 1991. The following movie was a major release titled My New Gun, in 1992. Philip continued to collaborate with writer-director Paul Thomas Anderson, appearing in all but one of the director’s first six films. On February 2, 2014, Philip was found dead by his friend in his Manhattan home bathroom. According to the cops and investigators, the actor died of acute mixed drug intoxication. We want to believe that his family had properly managed his net worth.
