ROB KNOX

Born as Robert Arthur Knox, Rob Knox became an actor, and he would be best remembered for his role in the hit Harry Potter movies as Marcus Belby. He also starred in Trust Me, I’m a Teenager, After You’ve Gone, and The Bill. Rob was tragically stabbed to death in a bar brawl where he stepped in to protect his younger brother. He was only 18 at the time of his murder on May 24, 2008. Thankfully, criminal attorneys got him justice, albeit too late.

The Rob Knox Film Festival holds annually in honor of the fallen star. His murder gained the attention of the media, and the killer obtained life imprisonment. Even though Rob is not with his family anymore, he is still remembered every year because of the love and care he had shown while he was still alive. His family established the Rob Knox Foundation, which aims to help young artists and aspirants.
