Christopher D’Olier Reeve remains in our hearts forever for his timely acquisition of the Superman role in 1978, which got him a BAFTA Award. He was also famous for his brilliant performances in movies such as The Bostonians, Street Smart, and The Remains of the Day. In his time, Christopher was a popular actor because of his unforgettable roles in movies and films. Due to his handsome looks, he was in demand as a leading man in popular motion pictures.

Unfortunately, Christopher fell off his horse in competition during a horse-racing meet in Virginia in May 1995. Moreover, the accident left him quadriplegic, requiring the use of a wheelchair, and he was dependent on a portable ventilator to aid his breathing. On October 10, 2004, the Superman actor died at the age of 52. His doctors and insurance companies confirmed that his untimely death resulted from cardiac arrest caused by an infection complication.
