Margot Kidder found her way into the hearts of the audience with her role in the 1978 film Superman as the dashing and ever-charming Lois Lane. Her manager recently verified that the actress died peacefully in her sleep at the age of 69. However, the investigation led to the conclusion that the cause of death is an overdose. Her close friend revealed she passed away at her home at the foot of Canyon Mountain, which she probably acquired through home finance.

Though Margot was widely known as the co-star of Christopher Reeve in the original Superman movie in 1978 and its three sequels in 1980, 1983, 1987, she also starred in several other films. Her filmography contains more than 100 movie and television credits in 50 years. She had starred in Black Christmas, The Amityville, Gaily, Gaily, and Sisters. She also had appearances in several TV shows. Her long years of hard work led her to a beautiful and meaningful life.
