JOANIE LAURER (CHYNA)

Joan Marie Laurer, a.k.a. Chyna, was arguably one of the best World Wrestling Federation female wrestlers and competitors. She was a one-time winner of the WWF Women’s Championship title and a two-time winner of the coveted WWF International Championship title. Chyna had a life outside the ring in which she starred in films. In 2001, she appeared in TV game shows like Hollywood Squares and as a celebrity guest in a special edition of Fear Factor. A year after, she became the host of the show Robot Wars: Grand Champions.

Her dependence on alcohol and prohibited substances was the cause of her death on the 17th of April, 2016. The report on her autopsy was released and revealed that she died from an overdose of a combination of anti-anxiety medications, painkillers, and sleeping pills. With her estimated net worth of $500,000, we could only hope she hired a financial advisor to take care of it when she died.
