MICHAEL MOORE – LOW-CALORIE DIET

The award-winning filmmaker Michael Moore has been overweight for many years. He realized that he was not getting any younger and was worried about the effect of his obesity on his health. Michael can take the easy way by getting a gastric bypass, but even if he has the insurance to cover it, he refused to get the surgery. Instead, he adopted a weight-loss program. Michael opted to change his diet by avoiding high carbohydrate food and restricting his calorie intake.

He also complements his diet with an active lifestyle. He walks about an hour a day instead of doing intensive exercise. Michael adds that a good sleep of 7 to 8 hours is also a factor in weight loss. As a result, he loses about 70 pounds throughout the process. Michael even managed to keep his healthy weight to this day. He professed that he enjoys his new body now and would not go back to his old habits.
