Elizabeth Berkley

Fans will probably remember Elizabeth Berkley in the TV series Saved by the Bell, portraying Jessie Spano. Aside from Jessie, the actress has had a number of memorable roles throughout the years. She played Nomi Malone in the 1995 Paul Verhoeven movie Showgirls, the lead star in the anime film Armitage III: Poly-Matrix, and had supporting roles in The First Wives Club and Roger Dodger.

Berkley also made a name in the theatre world, receiving critical acclaim when she did Hurlyburly. However, if there’s one thing that she’s most famous for, it’s for her now-defunct self-help program for teen girls called Ask-Elizabeth. Berkley had the chance to give young girls some life advice to help them with their problems. Her investments into this project certainly helped many young girls and women. Although it no longer exists, Berkley is still known for her being a philanthropist.
