An epic movie will not be possible without great actors playing their roles. As such is Hairspray, which got a lot of praise when John Travolta crossdressed to do his part. However, the movie’s success can also be attributed to Nikki Blonsky; she deserves some credit for holding her own alongside some of Hollywood’s best actors.

Blonsky rose to fame due to said movie. She was also well recognized by several award-giving bodies. Blonsky managed to continue her career and maintained her celebrity status to this day, despite conflicts and controversies that include her family. In 2019, Blonsky made public her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Dani. A year after, Blonsky then came out in her TikTok to the tune of Diana Ross’s song, I’m Coming Out. She later explained that the admission was long overdue. Blonsky also confessed to having a female ex-girlfriend in the past. She also confirmed that she and Dani are no longer together.
