The singer, songwriter, and six-time Emmy winner is not only successful in his career in the entertainment industry, but he’s also had it in his personal life as well. Fans can see this with his relationship with Australian rancher Georges Lebar, who he’s been with for more than 25 years.

The pair have known each other for a long time. Having met back in the 90s at a nightclub in NYC, the pop culture icon had no second thoughts about initiating conversation with him. Despite the couple’s significant age gap, with RuPaul being 34 and Lebar, having just turned 21 a time, it was of little to no problem for them at all. To a certain degree, love at first sight eventually led to a lifetime of romance with each other, and RuPaul has remarked that the key to their long-lasting relationship relied on just two things: trust and freedom.
