Shannen Doherty

When it comes to being a strong woman, Shannen Doherty would know plenty about that. The actress has faced a lot of challenges since the start of her career, after all. She is best known for her roles in the Little House on the Prairie, Our House, Heathers, Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Beverly Hills 90210, and in the highly popular show, Charmed. Her role as Prue Halliwell on the fantasy show helped catapult her into fame and turned Shannen into a household name.

Contrary to what some might think, the actress had fairly humble roots. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and is the daughter of a beauty parlor owner and mortgage consultant. She had big dreams, however, and with credit to her hard work, she became one of the most beloved actresses of the 90s. In fact, she was even given the title “iconic Hollywood bad girl” of the decade.
