Dancing with the Stars | ABC | Renewed for Season 30

Premiered in June 2005, the US version of the UK dance competition Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing with the Stars was originally hosted by Tom Bergeron from its inception until its twenty-eight season in 2019. As the show renewed its twenty-ninth season, it premiered in September 2020 with a new host, Tyra Banks, who replaced Bergeron. Subsequently, the dance contest series went on to its thirtieth season in the Fall of 2021.

The show’s premise consists of a celebrity who is paired with a professional dancer, then performs the predetermined dances and competes with other participants vying for the judge’s votes and audience votes. The pair that receives the lowest combined total of the votes is eliminated from the competition each week until only one pair remain, which will then be declared the champion. Credit to the viewer’s support for the show, it continues to entertain people with its program.
