For Life | ABC | Canceled after two seasons

American television legal drama series created by Hank Steinberg For Life premiered in February 2020 on ABC network. The series was loosely based on a true story of a person imprisoned for a crime he did not commit, Isaac Wright Jr. The series centered on the character of Aaron Wallace, who was sentenced to life imprisonment after he was wrongly convicted. While he was imprisoned, he became a lawyer and worked as a defense attorney for twenty other inmates while striving to get his own sentence overturned.

In September 2020, it was reported that the production of the show’s second season was suspended due to the pandemic but eventually premiered in November that same year. Subsequently, ABC network canceled the series a few months back in May 2021 after two seasons, though it’s expected to find other networks to resume the production.
