Supermarket Sweep | ABC | Renewed for Season 2

Combining an ordinary team-based quiz with a live and timed race through a supermarket, Supermarket Sweep cameras follow the teams with shopping carts through a large and vacated supermarket with several aisles. The winning team will be determined by the value of the items thrown into the cart. The original show was broadcast from December 1965 to July 1967 on the ABC network. The latest revival of the show premiered in October 2020 on the same network and was given the green light to be renewed for the second season in May 2021.

Each of the three competing teams is given a minute and 30 seconds of base time. In the first round, one contestant from each team is shown a list with four grocery items and asked to guess the price. An additional 15 seconds will be credited to the team who guessed the closest price. On the other hand, a board game of the original series on ABC network was manufactured in 1966 by Milton Bradley.
