The Amazing Race is an adventure reality game show franchise that features teams of two people who race around the world, competing with other teams. Split into legs, the race tasked teams to deduce clues and navigate themselves in foreign countries, interact with locals, and perform mental and physical challenges that often highlight aspects of the location’s history, culture, or economy. Teams travel by various modes of transport, such as airplanes, helicopters, trains, bicycles, taxicabs, buses, boats, and by foot throughout the course of the race.
