Blood & Treasure| CBS | Renewed for Season 2

Blood & Treasure is an action-adventure series, which stars the likes of Matt Barr, Sofia Pernas, Michael James Shaw, and Katia Winter, among others. The premise of the series follows the story of an art thief and an antiquities expert as they hunt down a terrorist stealing treasures. It originally premiered on May 21 back in 2019 and was created by Stephen Scaia and Matthew Federman, who also co-produced and wrote the series. The first season spanned over 12 episodes and has proven to be worthy of CBS’s investments. Based on Rottentomatoes, although their Tomatometer has deemed the show to be average, the audience rating puts it at a high 85%.

Last year, CBC announced the renewal of the series for a second season. Although a definitive release date is yet to be announced, we do know that the coming season will be ten episodes long.
