The Equalizer | CBS | Renewed for Season 2

2021’s The Equalizer is the reboot of the ’80s show with the same title, and just like the original, it is also a crime drama. The reboot has its own unique twist, with Queen Latifa playing the lead role of Robyn Mcall, known as The Equalizer. The show follows her story as a single mother and as an enigmatic figure who helps people as their defender, all the while pursuing a redemption story of her own. To the credit of Queen, she certainly played the part well and was even given credit for playing the role to the best of her abilities to the point of outshining the story-telling capabilities of the script.

So far, The Equalizer has aired ten episodes of the first season, and recently, CBS has announced their recent investments of ordering the show’s second season, which was announced just four episodes into the first season.
