NCIS | CBS | Renewed for Season 19

NCIS is one of the longest-running series on American television. The premise of which follows the story of a fictional special agents’ team from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. NCIS is a mixture of police procedural and military drama, which to the writers’ credit, have been their ticket to widespread success. The show is a spin-off of the 2000s series JAG, which also aired on CBS.

The series has no doubt received much commercial success throughout the years. It has even spawned a couple of spin-offs such as NCIS: New Orleans and NCIS: Los Angeles. The series has had a strong 18 season run thus far, spanning 414 episodes. Moreover, fans of the show will be thrilled to learn that in April of 2021, CBS announced that they would be continuing NCIS for a 19th season. Although, fans will also have to wait a bit longer as CBS has no scheduled release date.
