NCIS: New Orleans | CBS | Ending after Season 7
Yet another title that belongs to the popular police procedural NCIS franchise, NCIS: New Orleans, is the second spinoff and the third title of the series. The series was initially written by Gary Glasberg, who wrote it as a pilot episode. The show, which would have seven seasons, stars Scott Bakula and C.C.H. Pounder and is produced by CBS Studios, Wings Productions, and, for the first four seasons, When Pigs Fly Incorporated.
Set and filmed in the historic city of New Orleans, it follows the group of Naval Criminal Investigative Service agents based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Moreover, the cast is lead by Supervisory Special Agent Dwayne Cassius Pride, played by Scott Bakula, and his Assistant Supervisory Special Agent Hannah Khoury, played by Necar Zadegan. Unfortunately, the show would only end with seven seasons, unlike its two older brothers. To its credit, however, its ending would serve as the foundation of the third spinoff and upcoming series NCIS: Hawai’i.
