The Neighborhood | CBS | Renewed for Season 4

On October 1st, 2018, the show will premiere. The Neighborhood is a Jim Reynolds-created American comedic television series. The series follows a white Midwestern family as they adjust to their new home in Pasadena, California, primarily African-American. Its ensemble includes Cedric the Entertainer as Calvin Butler, ‘The Nicest Guy in the West’ Max Greenfield as Dave Johnson, Tichina Arnold as Tina Butler, and Beth Behrs as Gemma Johnson others.

The show had an initial plan for release as a pilot episode in 2017, and it was written and produced by Jim Reynolds, with the show titled Here Comes the Neighborhood. However, come 2018, it would change its title to Welcome to the Neighborhood, but later changing its title again for the last time as simply, The Neighborhood, with the series premiering in the fall of 2018. Despite garnering mixed to negative reviews upon its release, to its credit, the show would continue to have three more seasons upon 2021, with about 61 episodes all in all.
