S.W.A.T. | CBS | Renewed for Season 5

S.W.A.T. is a popular series based on American action/drama produced by Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan. Moreover, the show takes inspiration from the 1975 television series of the same name directed by Robert Hamner and produced by Rick Husky. Los Angeles native and former Marine Sergeant Daniel Harrelson, nicknamed Hondo, serves as the series’s protagonist. The series starts with Harrelson receiving a summons to oversee a new Special Weapons and Tactics team.

Among the show’s list of credits include actors and actresses such as Shemar Moore, Stephanie Sigman, Alex Russell, and Lina Esco, among many others. Since its first season’s release in November 2017, the show has continued to three more seasons, a total of 4 seasons and 84 episodes from 2017 to 2021. Sources report that the show will produce a fifth season in early 2021. However, filming and release dates are yet to be confirmed.
