South Side | Comedy Central | Renewed for Season 2

Another season for Comedy Central’s South Side is now confirmed. According to Yahoo! News, the production team requested the sitcom to air ten more episodes for the subsequent season. Of course, our favorite duo Sultan Salahuddin and Kareme Young, are reprising their respective acting credits as Simon and Kareem. The first episode was aired on July 24, 2019, while the renewal news broke even before the last episode aired on television.

Just like most of us, the production of the second season was affected by the ongoing pandemic. That’s why there is still no news about when the show will continue to air fresh episodes. However, in August 2020, HBO Max announced that they had acquired the rights to broadcast the subsequent season, but some reports mentioned that the TV series is more likely to start showing on September 15, 2021, so stay tuned!
