Supergirl | The CW | Renewed for Final Season

It sure looks like CW knows its way around adapting our favorite comic book heroes to life. In fact, they have since established their very own connected universe called the Arrowverse. Along with its namesake series Arrow, it comprises titles such as Legends of Tomorrow, Superman & Lois, The Flash, and Supergirl. In the meantime, though, let’s take a look at the latter.

Since she’s Superman’s cousin, it’s no wonder Supergirl also possesses most – if not all – of the Man of Steel’s powers. The series initially premiered on CBS back in October 2015, but it has found its way to The CW since its second season. Since then, the show’s titular heroine has gone through numerous challenges. Throughout its six-season run, Supergirl has garnered a high degree of praise and recognition from critics and audiences alike. With that in mind, it’s safe to say the series will be concluding on a high note.
