Matthew Perry portrays the witty Chandler Bing in the long-running comedy television sitcom Friends, for which he received an Emmy Award nod for the said role. Perry has been cast in other television series and has played minor roles in films such as Fools Rush In and The Whole Nine Yards. His degree of artistry in the movie The Ron Clark Story earned him a Golden Globe nomination. Growing up in a broken family, the Friends star actually had quite a difficult childhood. During his high school days, Perry decided to focus mainly on acting and performed in several stage productions. Later on, he was cast in the TV series Second Chance, which established him as an actor.

Perry had reportedly sold two real estate properties valued at $27 million and $14 million. He settled for a $6 million ranch-style home in Los Angeles. Among the actor’s extensive car collection is an Audi R8, which he drives around the city.
