CANCER PROGRESSION

Progression of cancer or of tumors is actually the third to the last phase of its development. It is evidenced by the increase or speed of the growth and invasiveness of the tumor cells. As a result, phenotypic changes occur, the size of the tumor grows significantly, and it becomes more aggressive that it spreads widely to other organs or parts of the body, having greater malignant potential.
